FAQs - Nutrition Foundations Review
Who is the Nutrition Foundations Review best suited for?
1
The Nutrition Foundations Review is best suited for people who want clearer guidance around their current food intake, meal structure, protein intake, blood sugar balance, digestion, daily habits and lifestyle foundations.
It may be a helpful starting point if you feel unsure about what to eat, are overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice, or want practical recommendations that feel realistic and sustainable.
5
Do I need blood tests for this appointment?
2
No. Blood tests are not required for a Nutrition Foundations Review.
This appointment focuses more on your current nutrition, routine, symptoms, goals and lifestyle habits. If bloodwork seems relevant later, we can discuss whether a Functional Health & Bloodwork Review or further testing may be useful.
Is this suitable if I have bloating, constipation or digestive symptoms?
3
Is this a one-off appointment or can I get ongoing support?
Yes, it may be suitable if your symptoms are mild to moderate and you want to start with food, eating habits, hydration, fibre, meal timing, stress, movement and digestive foundations.
If your digestive symptoms are more complex, ongoing or associated with significant pain, unexplained weight loss, bleeding, persistent diarrhoea or other concerning symptoms, it is important to speak with your GP or relevant healthcare provider.
6
Do I have to cut out gluten, dairy, sugar or lots of foods?
4
What will I walk away with?
Not necessarily. The goal is not to remove foods unnecessarily.
Nutrition support should feel clear, practical and sustainable. If certain foods appear to be contributing to symptoms, we can discuss this thoughtfully, but the focus is usually on building a stronger foundation before jumping into restriction.
You will walk away with a clearer understanding of your current nutrition patterns, where the biggest gaps may be, and what practical steps to focus on first.
This may include guidance around protein, meal timing, fibre, hydration, digestion, blood sugar balance, food quality, snacks, meal structure and simple lifestyle habits that support your wellbeing.
This can be used as a one-off appointment, but some people choose to continue with the 4-Week Nutrition Support Program if they want more accountability, guidance and follow-through.
